Year 6

Year 6

Year 6 represents the final step within the children's Primary School learn journey and  is where the children are provided with the opportunity to perfect and practice key skills so that they are ready for Secondary School. The staff facilitate a holistic and engaging approach to education that enables the children to prepare for the challenges represented in Year 6. The children will  focus on mastering key skills that they have learnt across Key Stage 2 in preparation for the Key Stage 2 SATs tests, which take place in the Summer Term.

The children are provided with various opportunities to take responsibility for supporting other children across the school, through monitor roles, school council and various other projects.  The end of year residential trip represents a fantastic opportunity for the children to celebrate their time at Albemarle and prepare for the exciting challenges that are presented by an ever changing world.
