At Albemarle, we believe that everyone is a learner. As part of our commitment to working in partnership to serve our community, prior to September 2014, we provided a Learning Hub for our parents and adult members of the local community.
During the school day, local colleges and organisations used our Albemarle Community Education (ACE) building to provide workshops, drop-ins meetings and training sessions for parents and local members of the community to attend.
Through working in partnership with a number of organisations such as Aspire, we were able to host a range of workshops which provided adults with ways to help support their children’s learning or to gain skills to help them seek or return to work. All of the sessions were free and on occasions we were also able to provide a creche.
As a school, we are very proud of the achievements our adult learners made

We also work with Southmead Children's Centre, who provide a wide range of activities for parents with young children.

In May 2014, prior to Albemarle becoming a two form entry Foundation Primary school, the school underwent enabling works and the Albemarle Community Education ‘ACE’ building was transformed into teaching spaces for classroom use.
We hope to provide more workshops in the near future.
